The night

Four hours, start to finish

Every party runs on the same clock, and the whole studio belongs to it.

  1. 6:00 PM: Doors open

The potluck goes out, drinks come out, and the crowd bingo cards start moving around the room.

  2. All night: Crowd bingo

Every square on the card is somebody in the room you have to find. It was the highlight of last year, so it runs at every party.

  3. 8:00 PM sharp: The raffle

Every ticket you have earned goes in the drum. You have to be in the room when your name is drawn.

  4. After the raffle: The games

One epic wheel game and one epic hand-building game, built so a first-timer and a ten-year thrower have the same chance. Playing is never required.

  5. 10:00 PM: Lights up

Everybody helps reset the studio before heading home. With a full room it takes a few minutes.

  6. That night: No pottery

No classes, no open studio and no personal projects. The entire space is reserved for the party and the games.

Which night is yours

All three are great. Tap what you are after and we will tell you where to start.

The raffle

Every ticket you earn goes in the drum

Raffle tickets start piling up three weeks before each party: February 24, May 29 and October 2. There is no limit to how many you earn or how many prizes one person can win.

The thank-you

Already left us a review

If you have ever left The Clay Hole a Google or Yelp review, show it to us at the party for 5 extra raffle tickets. Guests included. It is a thank-you for the time you already took.

Tickets, guests and drinks

$3 a person

Every person at the party needs a ticket, members and guests alike. It covers the basic costs of the night and keeps the room from filling past the point where anybody can enjoy it.

Up to two per member

One for you, one for your guest. Your name goes on the list the moment you check out.

No refunds, but you can pass it on

If you cannot make it, give your ticket to another member and text our events line with their name.

One guest each

Partner, best friend, sibling, roommate. Guests sign the studio waiver before they come. Their raffle tickets go in under your name, and raffle prizes are for members.

Bring your own drinks

Beer, wine, cocktails, soda, mocktails. Anyone drinking alcohol is 21 or older and keeps themselves in check. If you are tipsy at all, take a ride home.

Winners are in the room

The drawing starts at 8 PM sharp, and you have to be there when your name comes out of the drum.
