A small favor. A big deal.

If this place has become your place, tell Google.

This is us asking you for a Google review. Not a five-star review. An honest one. Whatever you’d tell a friend who asked about us… that. It takes about two minutes, and it does more for this studio than you’d probably believe.

Opens Google in a new tab. Stars are your call. Words are your own.

Two members high-fiving across their pottery wheels at The Clay Hole in Draper, Utah

First, a true thing

A stranger helped you find us.

Think back. Before your first class. Before you knew where to park, or what a kiln shelf was, or a single name in the building. You did what everybody does now. You pulled out your phone and read the reviews.

Somebody you’ve never met sat down one night and typed a few honest sentences about this place. No reward. No angle. Just their two minutes. You read them, and somewhere in your head a small voice said, okay… maybe.

And here you are.

You can’t thank that person. There’s no way to. Reviews don’t work like that.

But you can become them.

The honest math

Anger types fast. Happy forgets.

The bad night

Someone has one rough experience, at any business on earth, and their review is live before they’re out of the parking lot. Frustration is a fantastic typist.

The good year

Meanwhile, someone quietly loves a place for a whole year. Means to say so the entire time. Never quite gets around to it. Not because they don’t care. Because happy is busy.

The lopsided internet

So almost every place online reads a little worse than it feels when you’re actually standing in it. There’s exactly one fix, and it isn’t spin. It’s happy people taking their turn.

This page is us asking you to take yours.

Who you’d actually be helping

Somebody is googling us at 11 p.m. tonight.

They’re wondering the exact things you once wondered. Will I fit in? Is everyone already friends? Am I going to look ridiculous being brand new at something as a full-grown adult?

We could answer them ourselves. We do, all over this website. But we’re the ones selling the memberships, so of course we say it’s wonderful. Our opinion of us is worth exactly what you’d expect.

Yours is different. You have no reason to say any of it unless it’s true. Which is why your two minutes outweigh every page we’ve ever written about ourselves. Including this one.

I love my Clay Hole community! I’ve found my safe place and made so many friends. The instructors are awesome… If you’re looking for YOUR place, come join us.

Two minutes, start to finish

Here’s the whole thing

1

Tap the button

Google opens in a new tab with the review box already up. This page waits right here behind it.

2

Sign in if it asks

Reviews live on Google, so it wants your Google account. Signed into Gmail or YouTube on this phone? You’re basically done. Your review posts under your Google name.

3

Say the true thing

Pick the stars you actually mean. Write like you talk. Post it. You can edit it, or delete it, any time you want, forever.

Write your honest review

The copied link opens the same review box. Couch, bed, waiting room. Wherever honesty strikes.

Because you should know

The rules we hold ourselves to when we ask

No bribes.

Nothing in exchange for a review. Ever. Google forbids it, and anyway, a purchased compliment isn’t a compliment.

No scripts.

We’ll never tell you what to write, or ask you to name names. Your words or nothing.

No five-star begging.

We ask for the number you actually mean. If that’s five, glorious. If it isn’t, that’s information we need.

No cherry-picking.

Everyone gets this same ask. Not just the folks we’re pretty sure will be nice about it.

One more thing, and it matters.

If something around here is bugging you, we want to hear about that too. Text us at (385) 241-5528. Not as a trade, and never instead of your review. Your review is yours either way. We just can’t fix what we don’t know about.

Quick questions

Do I need a Google account?

Yes. Reviews live on Google and post under your Google name. If you’re signed into Gmail or YouTube on your phone, you’re already most of the way there.

Can I change my review later?

Any time. Edit the words, change the stars, or delete the whole thing. It stays yours forever.

What should I write?

Whatever’s true. We’re not allowed to coach you, and we wouldn’t anyway. Write it like a text to a friend who asked if we’re worth it. Two sentences is plenty. Twenty is also plenty.

What if my experience wasn’t five stars?

Then say so. Honest reviews are the whole point, and they’re what keep the rest of them believable. Text us too, please. We want the chance to make it right.

Does anybody actually read these?

Every single one. Us, the day it posts. And some stranger at 11 p.m., deciding whether to come meet you.

Two minutes. That’s the whole ask.

Take your turn.

A stranger did this for you once. Somewhere out there is the next member, phone in hand, reading. Tell them the truth about this place.

Button acting up? Same place, different route: open our Google listing and tap “Write a review.”

Thank you. Every review gets read. More than once, if we’re honest.
