Welcome to Membership Sign-Up at The Clay Hole

The Shared Shelf Pass is a membership at The Clay Hole for couples or friends who both want a full membership and are willing to share a shelf in exchange for a permanent 20% off for both members.

You'll both still get the same number of classes as standard members, and you'll have access to all the same tools, glazes, and equipment. If you'd rather have your own shelves/standard memberships on a standard pass, you can sign-up for those here. Also, please note that shared shelves are only available for Purple and Black level memberships. 

Joining the Clay Hole: Whether you're just starting out or looking to deepen your practice, our memberships offer the flexibility and resources to support your pottery journey. Join our vibrant community and find the plan that fits your creative lifestyle.

STEP 1: Choose Your Desired Flexibility

Select the class schedule that aligns with your routine:

• Choose your classes: Total classes per month will depend on your membership level. Green gets x4, Yellow gets x5, Purple gets x6, Black gets x8. Shared shelf memberships can only be setup with purple level and black level memberships.
• Unlimited Classes: Contact us if you'd like to discuss an unlimited or production pottery pass to The Clay Hole

All memberships renew monthly on the 25th. Cancel or pause anytime before then to keep from being charged the following month.

STEP 2: Pick Your Class Days/Times

You can attend any classes you like, up to the maximum allowed per membership level. Our classes are designed to fit various schedules:

• Evening Classes: Monday to Friday, 6:30 PM – 10:00 PM
• Daytime Class: Monday, 10:30 AM – 2:00 PM
• Open Studio Times: Saturday & Sunday, 10 AM - 1:30 PM
  

Please note: Classes are not held on certain holidays. You can view all holiday closures here..

Also of note: You may only attend open studio times once you have been to at least two classes with instructors since no instructors are present during open studio time.

STEP 3: Choose How Much Access You Want at The Clay Hole

🟩 Green Level – Starter (NOT AVAILABLE ON SHARED SHELF PASS)

🟨 Yellow Level – Enhanced (NOT AVAILABLE ON SHARED SHELF PASS)

🟪 Purple Level – Premium

⬛️ Black Level – Elite

STEP 4: Choose the appropriate membership from the drop-down menu above

Now that you've dialed in how you want to roll, go to the drop-down above and choose the appropriate option. After you check-out, we will text both you and your shelf partner all the details you need to get started with us here at The Clay Hole!

📌 A Few Extra Things to Know

• You can always upgrade your membership mid-month or the following month, and you can always downgrade your membership next month. You may change membership levels up to twice each year.
• If you or your shelf partner quit membership, and the other stays, your membership will renew at the standard membership price. If only one of you wants to cancel, come talk to the office staff so we can cancel this membership and get you signed-up on your own.
• Clay is available starting at $28 for a 25 lb bag (before membership discounts)
• Kiln firings are priced at $0.05 per cubic inch
• All members will be required to sign the online waiver before they can participate at The Clay Hole.
• Memberships renew automatically on the 25th. You can cancel or pause any time by the 24th to avoid being charged for the next month. There are no contracts, just deadlines to cancel.
• There are no refunds on memberships for any reason at any time, including for missed cancelation deadlines.
• We reserve the right to cancel any membership at any time should our studio rules not be kept or problems arise.
• If you choose to start mid-month (no matter what time of month), that month will terminate at the end of that same calendar month. You will be charged on the 25th for the following month even if you start toward the end of the month. That being said, your pottery classes never expire (so long as you're a member), so if you want to start late and can't get them all in, don't stress! You can get them in later on.
