Your printable guide

Getting your file

• Right after checkout, your download appears on the order confirmation page. We also email it to you with the subject line “Download and print, whenever you’re ready.”
• Each download link works up to seven times. Save the PDF somewhere you will find it again, like your computer’s Documents folder, or Files on a phone or tablet.
• Can’t find the email? Check your spam and promotions folders. The download links also live on your order page, which your order confirmation email links to.

Printing it well

• Any home or office printer, regular US Letter paper. Nothing important sits near the edges, so ordinary printer margins cut nothing off.
• Choose Actual size, or 100%. Fit to page works too. Every page, the smallest text and every QR code were checked at that size.
• On A4 paper, choose Fit to page (some printers call it Scale to fit).
• Black and white is fine. Every page was checked in grayscale. The color makes it nicer to look at, but nothing depends on it.
• Going in a binder? Print single-sided. Every page has a wider margin on the left, where the holes go.
• Print what you need, as often as you need it. The practice pages are made to be printed again once you fill them in.

On a tablet or phone

• Every QR code in the guide is also a link, so on a screen you just tap it.
• Your PDF app’s sidebar or bookmarks list jumps straight to each section.
• Rather fill in the workbook pages on screen? Any PDF app that lets you write on a page will do.

The QR codes keep working

Every code points to a short theclayhole.com address that we look after. If a video moves or a page changes, we fix the address and the copy on your shelf keeps working.

New editions

• When we correct or improve a guide, everyone who bought it gets an email with the new edition, at no charge.
• The version number is on the cover and the last page, so you can always tell which edition you have.
• The new file uses the downloads you had left on your original link.

Your copy is yours

Print it, write all over it, and keep it on your own devices. It is licensed for your own personal use, so please don’t share the file. Anyone can read the full lesson free at the University, and the printable is there if they want their own copy.
