Membership rules, the good one

Your unused classes never expire.

Miss a week. Miss a month. Miss three months in a row. Every class you’ve paid for waits for you, for as long as you stay a member.

The one catch: cancel, and every unused class ends with the membership.

  • No expiry while you’re a member
  • No limit on how many stack up
  • Void once your membership ends

How it works

Three rules. That is the whole policy.

1

They carry forward.

Every month adds your level’s classes: 4 on Green Level, 5 on Yellow Level, 6 on Purple Level and 8 on Black Level. Whatever you don’t use rolls into next month, then the month after that.

2

There is no ceiling.

No cap on how many you save and no date they run out. Let them pile up through a hard stretch, then spend a stack of them in one busy week.

3

Canceling voids them.

When a membership ends, every unused class ends with it. Signing back up later doesn’t bring them back. No credit, no refund. Gone.

See it add up

Six ordinary months, one growing pile.

A made-up half year: one full month, a busy one, two away, then a catch-up. Switch levels or change any month and watch what carries forward.

What happens to them if you

All 10 stay yours. They keep carrying forward, month after month, for as long as you stay a member.

Nobody here scans you in, so the real count is the one you keep. More on that in the questions below.

Catching up

Come in as often as you like to use them.

A saved class spends exactly like one from this month. There are sessions seven days a week, five instructed classes and three open studio sessions, so a pile can come down fast.

  • Every session uses one class.

An instructed class and an open studio session count exactly the same.

  • Clump them or spread them out.

Three nights in one week to work through a pile is completely fine. They’re your classes.

  • Open studio comes after a class or two.

New to pottery, come to two instructed classes first. Already knew your way around clay when you joined, one is enough.

  • Holiday closures don’t cost you one.

We close for a handful of holidays and don’t refund or prorate them. The class you would have used just waits with the rest.

Months away

Two ways to keep your classes. One way to lose them.

When you know life is about to take over for a while, this is the whole decision.

Stay a member

Nothing changes. Each month adds its classes to the pile, and you work through them once things calm down.

Pause

Your unused classes, your shelf, your rewards progress and your spot in the studio all wait. Billing picks back up on its own when the pause ends.

Cancel

You can still come through the end of the month you’ve paid for. After that, every unused class is void, your shelf is cleared and your rewards card starts over. None of it comes back if you rejoin.

The steps and the fine print

Staying costs the most and pausing costs less. Both keep what you paid for. Canceling costs nothing and keeps nothing.

Questions

The fine print, answered straight.

Do my classes expire while I’m paused?

No. They wait, along with your shelf, your rewards progress and your spot in the studio. Billing starts again on its own when the pause ends, and every class you had saved is still there.

If I cancel, can I still use them this month?

Yes. Canceling stops the next charge, not the month you’ve already paid for. Keep coming through the end of that month, and clear your shelf by the end of its final class. Anything still unused after that is void.

If I rejoin later, do my old classes come back?

No. A canceled membership takes every unused class with it, even if you sign back up the following month. Rejoining starts you at zero, at current prices, and new member deals aren’t offered to returning members.

Is there a limit on how many I can save?

No. There’s no cap on how many stack up and no date they run out, for as long as you stay a member.

How do I keep track of how many I have?

You do. Attendance here runs on trust. There’s no card to scan and nobody at the door with a clipboard, so keep a rough tally of your own.

If it ever looks like someone is coming a good deal more often than they’ve paid for, we have a friendly word and check the attendance. It’s rare, and it’s usually an honest miscount sorted in a minute.

What if I use more than I have?

Tell a main instructor (pink shirt) the moment you realize. If you’re staying on, we usually take the extra off next month and call it even. If it isn’t caught, you’re charged the difference for that month and moved up to a level that covers it.

Do rewards carry forward the same way?

Mostly. Rewards you’ve earned never expire while you’re a member either. The one difference: from 18 months on, the monthly free firings and free clay reset at the start of each month, so unused ones don’t stack up. Classes are the thing that piles up.

How the rewards program works

Keep what you paid for

Busy months happen. Your classes wait them out.

Stay a member and every class you’ve paid for stays yours, no matter how long it takes to use them. The only thing that ends them is ending the membership.
