No worries, we make it easy to cancel at any time. We're super bummed to hear that you wanna go, but we’ve all gotta follow our path!

From there, click the Manage Membership button. You’ll see an option to cancel on the next screen. Please know that we don’t ever cancel your membership on our side, so be sure to do it on yours. And, when life lines up again, you’re very much welcome back!

 

Also, if you’re up for it, we’d love some feedback of what we might have done differently to keep you engaged, help you feel supported, or been a better fit for you. We’re very much learning as we go, so there are no wrong answers. Feel free to message the work phone and let us know your thoughts.

What You Keep When You Pause Instead

You keep your spot in the studio — no waiting list worries
You keep your unused days — your days never expire while you're a member, so any unused days from the past can still be used when you come back
You keep your reward progress — the months you're on pause don't count
You keep your personal shelf — nothing gets moved
All your clay and in-progress pieces stay right where you left them
Your billing resumes automatically — no need to re-enroll or jump in and out of the system

A Few Things to Know About Canceling (aka the Fine Print)

  • Memberships must be canceled by you no later than 11:59 PM on the 24th of the month. Any cancelation that comes in after that time will not take place until the following month.
  • There are no contracts at The Clay Hole, just deadlines to cancel.
  • There are no refunds on memberships for any reason at any time, including for missed cancelation deadlines.
  • Several things go into effect as soon as memberships are renewed, which is why we have to be super strict about cancelation rules.
  • When you cancel, you can still finish all your classes that you've paid for in the current month.
  • If you have pieces waiting to be fired, you can come during class times to pick them up for up to two weeks after you put them on the drop-off tables.
  • You must clean everything off your shelf no later than the last class of every month. 100% of canceled shelves are cleaned off, pottery is tossed or given away to other members, and clay, aprons, tools, etc become property of The Clay Hole to do with as we see fit.
