Real Friendships Don’t Happen in One Night—Pottery Makes Space for More
You’ve tried book clubs, group hikes, church activities, networking events... and yet, real friendships still feel just out of reach. Why? Because meaningful relationships aren’t built in a single evening. They take time. They take routine. And they take spaces that feel safe and consistent.
That’s exactly what we’ve created at The Clay Hole in Draper. Our weekly membership-based pottery classes are about more than learning a craft—they’re about creating community through consistency.
One-Time Events Can’t Do What Repetition Can
Most adult “friend-making” events are one-offs. They’re well-intentioned, but without follow-up, they don’t stick. At The Clay Hole, you’ll see the same people every week. The same instructors. The same couches. The same snacks. Over time, that repetition makes people feel safe. And when you feel safe, you open up.

FAQs
Will I really make friends?
We can’t guarantee friendship—but we’ve watched it happen over and over again. When people show up weekly, connection follows.
Do I need to be outgoing?
Not at all. Pottery lets you ease into conversation naturally, without being the life of the party. It’s introvert-friendly, extrovert-welcoming, and neurodivergent-inclusive.
Is clay included?
No. Clay and firings are purchased separately based on what you use. Tools and instruction are always included.
