Quiet Pottery Classes for Overstimulated ADHD Adults in Utah

ADHD overstimulation is real—especially in Utah, where daily life often means traffic, noise, tasks, notifications, and expectations. For adults with ADHD, this constant input can lead to shutdown, burnout, or emotional overload. That’s why The Clay Hole in Draper offers quiet pottery classes designed for overstimulated minds.

Here, there’s no music blaring. No buzzing energy. No spotlight. Just your hands, your clay, and a peaceful studio full of kind, neurodivergent-friendly adults.

A Low-Stimulation Creative Space

At The Clay Hole, we’ve intentionally designed an environment that supports regulation. According to CHADD, many adults with ADHD experience sensory processing challenges. That’s why our lighting is soft, our layout is open, and our expectations are minimal.

  • No bright lights or chaotic color schemes
  • Spacious 10,000 sq. ft. layout to move, pause, or decompress
  • No group introductions or forced interactions
  • Option to wear headphones and quietly create
