Pottery Classes for Nonjudgmental Friendship in Utah

If you're craving connection but tired of cliques, gossip, and surface-level friendships, you’re not alone. The Clay Hole in Draper offers pottery classes for nonjudgmental friendship—a peaceful, creative space for kind adults who want to meet others without pressure or pretense.

Whether you’re introverted, neurodivergent, freshly single, or just tired of Utah’s traditional social circles, this is a place where respect, authenticity, and kindness come first. And friendship? That happens naturally over clay.

A Gentle Way to Connect With Others

At The Clay Hole, we don’t force interaction or small talk. Our members get to know each other quietly—often side-by-side at the wheel or while glazing at their own pace. The environment is safe, low-pressure, and welcoming to people from all walks of life.

  • No required socializing—just show up and create
  • Open to LGBTQ+ adults, ex-Mormons, and new Utahns
  • Zero religious, political, or lifestyle judgment
  • 4 instructors per class to guide and support when needed

We also offer specialized support for adults with social anxiety and others who feel like they don’t quite fit into traditional groups.
