Pottery Classes for Former Mormons Seeking Community in Utah
If you're navigating life after stepping away from the LDS Church, you’re not alone—and you’re welcome here. The Clay Hole in Draper offers more than pottery classes. We offer space. Space to create, to connect, to breathe, and to rebuild community in a way that feels natural, inclusive, and safe.
We understand that leaving a high-demand religion can feel like losing your social circles overnight. That’s why we’ve created a studio environment where people of all backgrounds come together over shared creativity, curiosity, and growth. Whether you’re seeking connection, healing, or simply a place to make something beautiful with your hands—you belong here.
Why Former/Ex-Mormons Love Our Pottery Studio
- A warm, judgment-free space to explore who you are creatively
- Weekly structure and skill-building that feels grounding
- Real community—without expectations or pressure
- Inclusive of all beliefs, backgrounds, and identities
- No proselytizing. Just clay, conversation, and connection
“Leaving the Church was isolating at first. I found more healing here—throwing pots and laughing with strangers—than I ever expected. The Clay Hole gave me back community.”
— Jess M., member since 2023
