Pottery Classes for Adults in Utah County

If you’re an adult looking for something more than a paint night, The Clay Hole offers a better kind of creative escape. Our Draper studio is designed for serious fun—pottery classes that help you unwind, build skill, and feel part of a real artistic community.

Unlike drop-in studios or one-time workshops, we operate on a monthly membership model with weekly classes. It’s the perfect way to relieve stress while actually learning a craft—whether you’re a total beginner or picking up clay again after years away.

Weekly Pottery Class Times

Each membership includes one weekly 3.5-hour class:

• Monday Morning: 10:30 AM – 2:00 PM
• Monday Evening: 6:30 PM – 10:00 PM
• Tuesday Evening: 6:30 PM – 10:00 PM
• Wednesday Evening: 6:30 PM – 10:00 PM
• Thursday Evening: 6:30 PM – 10:00 PM
• Friday Evening (Singles Night): 6:30 PM – 10:00 PM

Is this class only for beginners?

Nope! All levels are welcome. Whether you're starting fresh or looking to level up your wheel throwing, you'll find a place here.

Do I have to bring supplies?

Everything’s provided—Shimpo wheels, tools, clay, glazes, firings—no extra fees, no surprises.

Is this like a date night pottery class?

Nope. Our classes are weekly, skill-focused, and membership-based. But Friday night Singles Night is great for meeting people with similar interests!
