Pottery Classes for Adults Starting Over in Utah
Life changes can feel overwhelming—whether you're moving on from a relationship, a religion, a career, or just entering a new chapter. At The Clay Hole in Draper, Utah, we offer pottery classes for adults who are starting over and ready to reconnect with themselves through creativity and community.
You don’t have to be artistic, outgoing, or experienced with clay. All you need is the desire to create something with your hands and take a quiet step toward healing and self-expression.
Healing Through Clay
Pottery is grounding, empowering, and surprisingly emotional. It gives you space to process and grow, with no one watching and no one judging. Many of our members come to us after loss, divorce, faith transition, or burnout—and they find peace and purpose in the rhythm of clay and glaze.
- Classes designed for beginners, no experience required
- Wheel throwing and hand-building options in every session
- Supportive instructors (4 per class) who meet you where you're at
- Quiet, respectful environment—no loud groups or cliques
We also provide a compassionate space for former Mormons, LGBTQ+ adults, and anyone rebuilding their identity. No pressure. Just permission to create and belong.
