Pottery for Adults with ADHD or Neurodivergence in Utah
If you're an adult with ADHD, autism, or other forms of neurodivergence, you’ve probably been told to “sit still” or “focus” more times than you can count. At The Clay Hole in Draper, Utah, we don’t ask that of you. Here, you can stim, move, hyperfocus, and create—your way.
Our adult-only pottery classes offer a low-pressure, sensory-rich environment where your brain can thrive. No loud music. No forced interaction. Just clay, tools, and space to be yourself. Whether you find pottery regulating, expressive, or just fun, you’ll be welcomed exactly as you are.
Why Neurodivergent Adults Love The Clay Hole
- Quiet, structured environment with built-in flexibility
- Hands-on activity ideal for tactile thinkers and stimmers
- Multiple work zones—move between wheel and hand-building freely
- Instructors are patient, warm, and never pushy
- Headphones and silence are 100% welcome
- No small talk or socializing required (unless you want to!)
Many of our members are neurodivergent. Some are newly diagnosed, others have always known. What they all share is a love for making things in a space that honors their pace and their presence.
“I have ADHD and autism and usually bounce between hobbies, but pottery is the one that stuck. The Clay Hole lets me move, focus, and stim as needed. No one judges me here.”
— Riley K., member since 2023
