Pottery Classes for Adults Starting Over in Utah

Starting over isn’t easy. Whether you’ve gone through a divorce, moved to a new place, left a religion, or changed careers, you’re probably feeling raw, overwhelmed, and maybe a little lost. At The Clay Hole in Draper, we offer pottery classes for adults starting over—designed to help you reconnect with yourself and gently rebuild through creativity.

There’s no pressure here. No expectations. Just clay, calm energy, and a community of kind adults—many of whom are starting over too.

A Safe Space to Rebuild

Pottery is tactile, grounding, and deeply healing. It gives you something physical to work with while your inner world recalibrates. You’ll find peaceful structure, gentle instruction, and the freedom to go at your own pace.

  • No social pressure—quiet and calm is always welcome
  • Classes include both wheel and hand-building options
  • 4 instructors per class for low-key, one-on-one support
  • Inclusive of LGBTQ+ adults, ex-Mormons, and neurodivergent individuals

If you're coming out of religion or reclaiming your life in Utah, you might also relate to our page on healing after divorce.
