Pottery Helps ADHD Adults Build Routines Without Pressure

ADHD and routine don’t always mix. For many adults, even the thought of “sticking to something” feels like a trap—too rigid, too forced, too easy to fail. That’s why The Clay Hole in Draper offers something refreshingly different: structured pottery classes that support ADHD adults in building calm, pressure-free routines.

There’s no clock-watching here. No performance metrics. Just a gentle weekly rhythm that gives your brain the predictability it craves without smothering your need for flexibility.

Why Routine Matters for ADHD (When It’s Done Right)

According to ADDitude Magazine, adults with ADHD benefit from routines that are flexible, predictable, and sensory-friendly. Pottery naturally supports all three—engaging your hands, grounding your body, and giving you something to look forward to.

  • Same time, same space each week to reduce decision fatigue
  • Freedom within structure—work at your own pace
  • No pressure to produce or perform
  • A peaceful sensory experience to anchor your week

It’s not just about clay. It’s about showing up for yourself in a way that feels doable—and even joyful.

How Membership Works

Our monthly membership includes one 3.5-hour class per week. You’ll choose a consistent weekly class time so your brain always knows when and where to go:

  • Monday Morning: 10:30 AM – 2:00 PM
  • Monday–Friday Evenings: 6:30 PM – 10:00 PM

No contracts. No consequences for skipping a week. Just structure when you want it, support when you need it, and clay always waiting.
