Register for your perfect creative adventure with Dan, Courtney, and The Clay Hole Team. This retreat starts on July 28th, 2025.
Whether you're dipping your toes in for 3 days or diving deep for the full 9-day experience (including raku), you'll be guided step-by-step, even if you’ve never touched clay before.
Option 1: Three-Day Intro Retreat
- 3 full days of beginner-friendly hands-on pottery
- Create geometric bowls, sprig mold pots, carved vases, and more
- Create 6+ studio-level pieces to leave behind or have bisqued and sent to you
- Optional wheel fun sessions
- Evening party at Dan’s house to close it out
Option 2: Six-Day Full Retreat
- Everything from the 3-day retreat plus:
- Two dedicated glazing days with personalized coaching
- Professional glaze techniques and studio secrets
- Fully finish x6 high-end ceramic pieces
- Recharge day while pieces bisque fire
Option 3: Nine-Day Retreat (Raku Extension)
- Everything from the 6-day retreat plus 3 full days of raku
- Learn horsehair pottery and classic raku in outdoor raku fire kilns
- Adrenaline-packed, dramatic results that can't be replicated
- Use terra sigillata, resists, feathers, sugar, and more
- Dan’s driveway becomes your raku studio
