paper-template-castle-dice-tower
The Castle Dice Tower Paper Template

An 11 inch castle keep with three baffles inside that rolls your dice out its gate into a walled courtyard. A castle keep that rolls your dice: drop them in the top, and three baffles and an exit ramp send them out the gate into a felt-lined courtyard. Every gap inside fires to at least 1 1/4 in, so a full handful never jams. The keep lifts out of its walled bailey, and four round corner towers wear lift-off cone roofs.

Finished: 11 11/16 in tall, 8 7/8 in x 10 5/8 in overall, a 6 5/8 in x 3 15/16 in dice court at 12 percent shrinkage.

In the pack

14 template sheets, every piece drawn at exact size, with a 1 inch check square on each

The pieces: Front wall (cut 1), Back wall (cut 1), Left wall (cut 1), Right wall (cut 1), Baffle (cut 3), Exit ramp (cut 1), Floor (cut 1), Courtyard side wall (cut 2), Courtyard front and back wall (cut 2), Inner wall (cut 2), Tower wall (cut 4), Cone roof (cut 4), Flange ring (cut 4), Long strip (cut 1), Short strip (cut 2)

One page on printing, rolling and the seam method

Assembly in 35 numbered steps, then drying, glazing and what goes wrong

A size table at 10, 12 and 14 percent shrinkage

The keep walls and the floor print in parts that tape together

A felt page with a drawing of the dice path through the keep

Free for members, logged in to a Clay Hole account. $30 for everyone else.
